Usedom

Regine Kahmann's house is a beautiful completely rebuilt farmhouse in the middle of a quiet farming area west of the Usedom township.

Harbour leading out into inland sea

I had a lovely peaceful ride around the coastal area close to Regine's house in the morning and a bus tour in the afternoon with the Lab group where the bus driver was not happy about the narrow roads overhung with trees he was asked to take his beautiful big bus along - let alone the short gravel section with pot holes.  The standout point of the tour was the large number of huge villas right along the edge of the beach onto the Baltic Sea.  This contrasted completely with the quiet inland farming areas.
