Swimming at the Local Lake

A beautifully hot day so we took our picnic lunch down to the local lake which was really just an oversized pond. The far side looked the nicest so marched over only to discover it was the nudist area so did a hasty back track to find a nice shady tree to sit under. A compulsory swim in the fenced off swimming area before lunch, a spot of sunbathing, reading and people watching then a beer overlooking the "ski lane" where wake boarders and water skiers were pulled along on a continuous line. Certainly a different experience from New Zealand.
